Get started with Bluda Cheatcode / Quick Start Guide

Welcome to a smarter way to learn. This get started guide will get you up and running in minutes. Let’s get you set up to outsmart, not just study.

Your device is designed for intuitive, discreet control. Hold it like a normal textmarker.

Control Button: The physical button located near the USB-C charging port. Used for power and advanced commands.
Safety Sensor: The invisible sensor on the front surface where your thumb or finger naturally rests. The device is only listening for touch commands when you are touching this sensor, preventing any accidental scans or taps.
Primary Touchpad: An invisible touchpad on the side of the marker. This is your main “action” button for scanning and getting answers.
Secondary Touchpad: An invisible touchpad on the opposite side of the marker. Used for navigating back or starting fresh.

(Note: In the Cheatcode App, you can configure the Primary and Secondary touchpads for left or right-handed use.)

Power On/Off: Press and hold the Control Button to turn your Cheatcode on or off.
First-Time Setup: Follow the simple on-screen instructions in the Cheatcode App (iOS & Android) to connect your device to Wi-Fi and customize your settings.
Enter Ready Mode: Once set up, the Bluda logo and a “Ready!” message will appear on the hidden screen. This confirms your Cheatcode is connected and ready for your commands.

This is your core workflow. It’s designed to be as simple as Scan, Tap, Learn.

To Do This:	Perform This Action:
Scan Text	Hold the Primary Touchpad and glide the Cheatcode over the text you want to capture. Release when done. You can repeat this to add more lines.
Capture a Full Page/Image	Double-tap the Primary Touchpad.
Get Your AI Answer	Tap the Primary Touchpad. This sends your scan to the AI. The screen will activate, displaying your answer in what we call Response Mode.

Once you have an answer on your screen, you have two simple options.

To Do This:	Perform This Action:
Ask a Follow-Up Question	Tap the Secondary Touchpad. This returns you to the “Ready!” screen while keeping your previous scan in memory. You can now scan more text to add context and ask for a new answer.
Start a New Topic – Clear the Context	Hold the Secondary Touchpad. This clears the previous scan and answer from memory, returning you to a fresh “Ready!” screen.

Switch AI Profile	Double-tap the Control Button. This cycles through your pre-configured AI profiles (e.g., “Latin Translator,” “Physics Expert”). The name/id of the new profile will briefly appear on the screen.
Reset Device	Press and hold the Control Button for 10 seconds. Use this for troubleshooting if the device is unresponsive. This performs a hard reset, and you will need to reconfigure your device in the app.
